Auction of Promises for Leominister Meeting Centre
An Auction of Promises was held at the New Inn in Pembridge, Herefordshire to raise money for activity equipment for the Leominster Meeting Centre. There was a wide variety of promises, 40 in fact to bid for, including Zumba classes, clay pigeon shooting, a magician for an hour, horse massage and a flying lesson. £ 1900 was raised and the organisers and members and staff at the Meeting Centre are delighted with this achievement and the generosity of the local community.
