28th Alzheimer Europe conference in Barcelona: registration is open

Alzheimer Europe organizes its 28th conference on the theme ‘Making dementia a European priority’. It will be held in Barcelona from 29-31 October 2018. Registration is open and abstracts may be submitted. INTERDEM will also organise its yearly meeting (on 29 October) and four INTERDEM symposia will be hosted by Alzheimer Europe. Meetingdem

MEETINGDEM is a European JPND funded project aimed to implement and evaluate the innovative Meeting Centers Support Programme (MCSP) for community dwelling people with dementia and their carers. The project in Italy was funded by the Ministry of Health (Milan) and the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) (Bologna), in Poland by the National Centre for Research and Development, in the United Kingdom by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and in the Netherlands by ZonMw.

The EU Joint Programme – Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) is the largest global research initiative aimed at tackling the challenge of neurodegenerative diseases. JPND aims to increase coordinated investment between participating countries in research aimed at finding causes, developing cures, and identifying appropriate ways to care for those with neurodegenerative diseases – www.jpnd.eu.
